Monterey Bay Aquarium
The mission of the nonprofit Monterey Bay Aquarium is to inspire conservation of the ocean. Just a few of the exciting exhibits include the Giant Pacific Octopus, Sea Otters, Penguins, and Mission to the Deep. They also have Daily Shows including "Mysteries of the Deep" and "Project White Shark".

Old Fisherman's Wharf
Old Fisherman's Wharf is full of opportunities to view wildlife on the Monterey Bay. You also have the opportunity to go out on a whale watching or glass bottom boat tour. Stroll down the wharf with a cup of hot clam chowder, or stop by one of several restaurants where almost every seat has an ocean view.
Cannery Row
In January 1958, the City of Monterey officially re-named Ocean View Avenue "Cannery Row" in honor of John Steinbeck and his novel that described a colorful past set amid the cannery culture of the time. It is the Central Coast’s premiere visitor destination.
